Jaleel White is the host of CBS Media Ventures' nationally syndicated game show FLIP SIDE. White, famously known for his role in the sitcom “Family Matters”, is an actor, writer, and producer.
White grew up in Pasadena, Calif., and was cast for his iconic role as Steve Urkel in “Family Matters” in 1989. White starred in “Family Matters” for nine seasons, and more recently, has appeared in Netflix's “Hustle” and “The Big Show”; CBS's “Me, Myself and I”; and Apple TV's “The Afterparty”.
He was the voice of Sonic in two “Sonic the Hedgehog” TV series, co-starred in the TV series “Grown Ups” and had roles in many other feature film and TV series, including: “Dream Girls”, “Big Fat Liar”, “Boston Legal”, “House”, “Castle”, and “Psych”.
Prior to hosting FLIP SIDE, White had extensive game show experience having hosted two seasons of “Total Blackout”. He was also a recurring celebrity guest on “25 Words or Less”, “Pictionary” and set the record for most points scored in the bonus round on “Celebrity Family Feud”!
White also released his best-selling novel “Growing Up Urkel” in 2024.
FLIP SIDE is a syndicated game show, hosted by Jaleel White (“Family Matters”), which premiered on September 9, 2024. It enters its third season on September 14, 2026.
FLIP SIDE is an original, survey-based game show that pits two teams of contestants against each other – testing them on how they think opposite groups of people would answer the same or similar question. Players must pick the most popular answer – based on anonymous survey polls – which can be provocative, surprising and often hilarious! In the game's first two rounds, three answers are provided to each question for a team to choose from. In the third round, called “Fast Flips”, teams each get 30 seconds to pick the one out of two answers that polled higher. The team with the most points after the first three rounds goes on to the “Flip Five” bonus round, where they have to pick the top five answers out of ten for a chance to WIN $10,000!
Throughout each episode, host Jaleel White brings his fun, comedic energy to the show while keeping the gameplay moving!
Season three leans deeper into exploring relationships, dating, social behaviors and everyday life situations that viewers can relate to. Season three also features several celebrity episodes benefiting charity.
